First One Adventures’ Teens Entrepreneurs Connect program is introduced with the aim to inspire and instill a culture of entrepreneurship in teenagers. Such a skill is critical in kids early development; instilling a mindset of self-starters, creativity and an optimistic way of tackling challenges and coming up with innovative solutions.
The program ranging from three stages, namely below;
- StartUp Adventures (Entrepreneurial Bootcamps)
- TEC Launch (An Interactive 12 Months learning extramural activity to engage these young people and prompt them to start some sort of entrepreneurial action to solve a social problem)
- And lastly, the Pitch phase; where are young game-changers are couched in pitching skills and given an opportunity to pitch and showcase what they’ve achieved so far on their enterprise development.)
Our entrepreneurship program is inspired and motivated by the founder Jack Mthembu, who is a renounced young entrepreneur himself, listed as a Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur, a BBQ Award finalist and published in featured on publications such as Forbes Magazine, Men’s Health, Bona Magazine, Independent Report Newspaper and interviewed on eNCA, cliff central, Power FM, Y-FM and many other reputable media houses in Africa.
